How to Integrate Your Affirmation

How to Integrate Your Affirmation:

The best way to integrate affirmations into your daily life and make them work for you is to follow these simple steps with each affirmation that you use.

Grounding:

Before using your affirmation, you should take the time to ground yourself using your favourite method. Grounding brings yourself entirely into the present moment and focuses on what is happening right now in the present moment. Continually, it’s a feeling of being “rooted” and stable in one place. One of the methods I like to use is the visualization of growing tree roots from the bottom of my feet deep into the ground. Therefore, I am anchoring myself to the earth.

Focus:

Once you are grounded, you can begin to do a simple visualization exercise of focusing on your heart center. Bring your presence into the beating of your heart while focusing on the lifeblood flowing through it. When you feel the power, you can move the “light bulb” that represents your active mind and it’s thoughts into your heart. Once you have silenced the mind and centred the heart, allow yourself to focus on something that fills you with love. For some, it will be their newborn child, while for others it may be a puppy or kitten. Use whatever fills your heart with joyous love. Now you can say your affirmation out loud or in your head so that you will feel it taking root and integrating into your subconscious. Focus on how it feels to you and repeat the affirmation until it feels rooted within you.

Believe It;

The last step is to make sure that you believe in what you have just affirmed since this is the key to manifesting your words. If the affirmation requires action on your part, be sure to follow through so that you will achieve the results you desire.

Today’s Affirmation:

“I know that the Universe provides for me in all ways.”

About Today’s Image:

I found these colourful wheels for pedal boats beached in one of our local waterfront parks. The wheels were huge, at least 5 feet in diameter and all chained together for winter storage.

Dream it, Affirm It, Believe it, Achieve it!
