Divine Paradox:
How often have you been confronted with something that seems insurmountable? You know – the kind of thing that you just can’t seem to find your way around, over or through. These things often come up before us as a simple test of Faith. Thus, for me, I have found that the best way to deal with them is by remembering the “Divine Paradox” of “What is BIG is small, and what is small is BIG.”
How so?
To sum up, let me give you a few examples here. The first and most obvious example is our website. In this case, it is a straightforward concept to send out a daily affirmation in an email newsletter. However, look at how BIG the project is. In particular, we have a database of over 750 affirmations that will randomly post on the top of our Home Page and our Daily Affirmation For You Page. We also have a web site that archives all our posts and affirmations, and we have a list of subscribers that is growing exponentially every day. Above all, this has happened in only three short months since we decided to go ahead with the daily newsletters.
Now let’s take it a step further:
An affirmation is such a small thing, but look at how many lives it is helping to grow and self-empower! Moreover, each affirmation resonates across the Internet and affects thousands of people! For this reason, imagine what your simple random acts of kindness do for this planet or what simply saying “I Love You” can do for a friend who is feeling down. Are you starting to get my point?
When I first decided to send out the daily newsletters, I was entirely intimidated by the size of the project. How can one writer come up with enough ideas to send meaningful content out every day, not to mention designing and creating each Post and Newsletter? The answer was simple. Reduce the posts to 3 times a week and send out Newsletters 7 days a week. The affirmations are powerful on their own and still fulfill the criteria of A Daily Affirmation! Divine Paradox at work!
Today’s Affirmation:
“I now see my way clearly.”
Today’s Photograph:
I thought that since today’s post was about “Divine Paradox,” we could use a little bit of dragon magic to go along with it. This photo was taken in the lobby of the Cirque de Soliel show “Ka.”
So cool!! Muchas gracias
