Today’s Affirmation
“I choose to honor and respect nature in all her forms.”
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. ~E. B. White
We emerged out of nature, and when we die, we return to nature. Plus, we need to know there are forces impinging on us that we will never understand or control. We need to have sacred places where we go with respect, not just looking for resources or opportunity. ~David Suzuki

Today’s Photograph
This is the Club House at Red Wing Resort in the Okanagan Valley. It is under the siege of the rising waters of Okanagan Lake. Also, because of the high water levels the groundwater levels are also rising. They may eventually threaten to undermine the sand and silt bluffs that are a part of this small community.
Nature is testing this small community.
This photograph fits perfectly with our theme of respecting nature.
